My experience with Mike from Imperial Coach is worth far more than any rating system can justify. After some unfortunate experiences with competing luxury coach repair and sales companies in central Ohio, I was referred to see Mike at Imperial Coach. From the very beginning, we were treated as greatly desired guests--beyond our expectations of customer care and quality control.
Frankly, Mike contradicted my previous expectations of motor coach repair. My prior experience with having repairs conducted on a 20 year-old Prevost led me to believe that price gouging was common, labor was excessively expensive and often unexplained, and repairs take ages to complete. NOT SO with Imperial Coach! None of these common maintenance and repair problems existed with Mike. He took control from the beginning, troubleshooting basic procedures before my very eyes so that I knew what the problems were and could understand how long they would take to fix.
Mike has numerous contacts with luxury coach manufacturers, sales, and repair personnel. His networking is beneficial to the customer, as well, allowing Mike to quickly diagnose any mechanical deficiencies and get potential coach buyers the most prudent deal. This also allows him to accurately appraise the value of a coach with information and industry know-how that others lack.
Mike's charming partner, Sherry, will help you to feel at home while you peruse the merchandise or await repairs. She also does an amazing job at detailing the interior or exterior of a coach, going above and beyond by adding little nuances here and there, like
deodorizing scents. Mike and Sherri even detailed the engine free of charge. The coach now has a brand newness to it that I am quite certain I could never duplicate.
The bottom line is that throughout the entire process of purchasing a coach from Mike or having repairs performed, you will stay informed. Our quest for a new/used Prevost coach began over two years ago, during which time we visited every Prevost converter in the country from Marathon in Coburg Oregon to Liberty’s manufacturing facility in North Chicago and Amadas/Featherlite’s plant in Suffolk Virginia, not to mention all of the brokers from California, Arizona, Texas, Tennessee and Florida. We've met some incredible people in this “Bus Family” but it wasn't until we met Mike and Sherry at Imperial Coach in Ohio that our “Stars Aligned”!
From the moment we first met Mike and Sherry, we became friends. The serendipitous purchase of our 2007 Featherlite H3-45 was orchestrated by Mike and completed by us within 18 hours of our first meeting, that’s how comfortable we felt. Some of you may understand the feeling of “when it’s right, it’s right and everything flows”! BTW, Mike’s license plate on his truck says “BUSMAN”, how cool is that?
I could go on and on about what a wonderful experience the whole purchase process was but it doesn't stop there, we have continued our friendship with Mike and Sherry and let’s not forget Lily, the real Boss.
We attended our first Prevost Stuff Rv show this last January in Tampa and witnessed first hand the incredible reputation Mike has in the “Bus Family”. We met many others who feel like us about Mike and are grateful it’s “BUSMAN” Gibson (Mike) who “has our back” and can provide us the service only someone with his reputation can.
We are so excited about the growth Imperial Coach is experiencing and along with their new service facility in Ohio which is allowing Mike and Sherry to pursue their passions at a whole new level.
Our travels will always include a stop in Ohio at Imperial Coach because in our minds, “it’s on our way to everywhere we are going”!

We experienced excellent customer care from Imperial Coach; My wife and I had been looking at and researching coaches for over 2 years when I happened across Michael Gibson and Imperial Coach. I made a phone call to inquire about a few coaches on their website, the owner himself answered the phone and we had a pleasant 15 minute conversation discussing various coaches he had offered for sale. I scheduled an appointment. for later in the week to visit the facility. Upon arrival my wife and I were greeted by Mike and his staff, we were shown many coaches and allowed to take as much time as we needed with no feeling of rush or any pressure what so ever. After deciding to purchase a coach, Mike and I discussed some upgrades I would like before taking delivery, Mike took the time to discuss options about each one, allowed me to talk directly with the tech doing some of the work, they kept me updated with photos and phone calls as the work progressed...I could go on, but in closing I would like to say if your in the market for a luxury coach, or upgrades to an existing coach you would be hard pressed to find a company offering such personalized customer care as my wife and I have experienced from the owner Michael Gibson and Imperial Coach!!
